The Project: Fashion & Beauty Makeover

The Challenge:

Florence is a 35 year-old MD of a fast-moving web design and development agency. She has two young children and lives in West London. She describes herself as creative and entrepreneurial but somewhat reserved. A year after having her second child Florence realised that her image and self-esteem needed a boost. She wanted to review her existing wardrobe, refine her style and learn how to shop quickly. She needed advice on finding clothes that worked together or mixed and matched across her wardrobe. She often returned from a shopping trip with clothes that she liked but didn't suit her or vice versa. She chose Busting Diva because of the tone of its website and the philosophy of the company. She liked the fact that Busting Diva was professional yet friendly and down to earth.

The Solution:

Busting Diva provided Florence with a stylist who began with a Wardrobe Edit at Florence's home. The stylist assessed her likes and dislikes, determined her style goals and gave impartial advice on how to achieve them; her clothing was edited, organised and her wardrobe planned. She was offered shopping tips and recommendations on items that would complete her existing wardrobe and given advice on enhancing her best features while concealing the ones she didn't like. In addition Florence was advised on choosing colours, hairstyles and make-up to make the most of her features and complexion. Florence went on to have a Personal Shopping trip and a Make-Up Lesson to complete the transformation.

The Result:

Florence now feels that she has the right clothes for the right occasion. When she looks in the mirror she is no longer surprised (or disappointed) by what she sees, rather she feels comfortable in her skin and thinks her clothes work in harmony with one another. Her friends and family have noted the difference in her co-ordinated, streamlined style and her relaxed, confident manner. A business colleague recently asked "have you lost weight? you look slimmer." Florence attributes this to the clothing purchased on her personal shopping trip, which fits better and flatters her shape. She returns to Busting Diva on a regular basis to progress different aspects of her style. She particularly likes the breadth of services that Busting Diva provides.
