Okay, so are there some unwritten rules for guys over a certain age that us girls don't know about? I'm sure they must go something like this:
Of course I'm half joking but being a 40-something singleton myself, I seem to meet an awful lot of these men and I know my other single female friends have noticed this as well. I don't feel my age, and am told (maybe they're all lying?) that I don't look it, but when I go to a singles do for the 40s-50s, I feel like I'm chatting up my dad's friends! Where are all the "distinguished" gentlemen in beautiful, well tailored clothes that have discovered and perfected their style? Certainly not at the events I've been to that's for sure - or perhaps they're only like this when their wife has dressed them?!
So, I admit, this is a fairly sweeping statement to make, and you guys can't cheat and tweak quite as much as we do, but I am feeling fairly despondent about the menswear situation. Maybe there's just not as much information out there for guys and that's why they so frequently get it wrong.
Anyway, here at Busting Diva, we have the perfect solution - us! We love to give a helping hand and can take you on a shopping trip and teach you how to dress! We won't be there every morning, or before a date, to dress you, but we can help you to choose items that mix and match and let you in on a few insider tips to help get your look together - and what women like to see! We can give you menswear style advice, based on your body shape and colouring and advise how to dress to bridge the gap between work suits and sportswear - an area it seems most men struggle with.
You don't have to spend a fortune to look good, just choose carefully and know what suits you... and guess what? I've got a secret to tell you - shopping can be fun! Obviously more so with a diva there to guide you and whatsmore, we can save you loads of time and get more done in an afternoon, than you would in a month of Sundays on your own! Extra time to plan your next nights out, ready to wow those ladies, and wipe the floor with all those other guys who haven't yet had the benefit of our menswear styling tips!
