winter '04/05 tips & tricksOur experts have compiled a selection of essential knowledge for this season: fashion tips & tricksFor those of you who love this season's trend of tweed but are blessed with curvier shapes (isn't this every woman?!), there are some fabulous fabrics out there that look like tweed but are softer and therefore fall better. Look for a wool mix, they will accentuate your shape nicely whilst allowing you to stay in style. Also big this season are glamorous sheers. Dress it down during the day with a pretty slip or vest, while in the evening add sparkle and fun with sequins, motifs or a pretty brooch (another huge trend for winter 2004). beauty tips & tricks
Bring out the burgundy is the big tip for the winter season. Although we may look pale, boost your look by adding a shade of burgundy, ruby red or amethyst to your lips, eyes or nails. Keep that moisture locked in so your skin stays fresh and flawless. Most Rose Oil products will help. Try a finest quality, pure aromatherapy essential oil which has no added colour or synthetic preservatives and is extracted from single species plants. interior tips & tricksA big trend forecast for interiors is 1930s glamour. To bring this look to your home, keep your eyes peeled for mirrored furniture, crystal glassware or chandeliers, shiny fabrics and metallic-finish wallpaper. Accessorise by mixing pale pinks with silver, icy blue and whites. The Oriental look is still big this season. Look out for plush reds and purples and simple Chinese or Japanese-style furniture. |
